cloudCMS - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - RSA Ready SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate RSA SecurID Access with cloudCMS using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to cloudCMS.

Procedure

    1. Sign into the RSA Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

    2. Click on Create From Template found in he upper right of the page then select SAML Direct.

    3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. cloudCMS Then click on Next Step.

    4. On Connection Profile page.

        1. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

        2. Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Initiated.

        1. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

        2. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of cloudCMS.

        3. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

        4. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

        5. Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle.

        6. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion .

        1. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

        2. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) From the cloudCMS configuration below for SAML ACS Endpoint URL For example: https://rsa.cloudcms.net/saml.

        3. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) From the cloudCMS SAML ACS Endpoint URL use the domain name. For example: rsa.cloudcms.net.

        1. Scroll down to User Identity section .

        2. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.kotlad1_4-1629299164907.png

      1. Expand Show Advanced Configuration .

      2. In Attribute Extension section click +ADD . Note Property values may vary configurations.

      3. Add Attribute Name = email and Property = mail

      4. In Attribute Extension section click +ADD

      5. Add Attribute Name = nameID and Property = givenName

      6. Click Next Step.

    5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step.

  1. On Portal Display Page

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  2. Browse to Application > My Applications .

  3. Locate newly create application for cloudCMS

  4. Click on Down Arrow next to Edit button

  5. Select Export Metadata data. This will be used below for cloudCMS configuration.

  6. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure cloudCMS

Perform these steps to integrate cloudCMS with RSA SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into cloudCMS and browse to Manage Platforms > Platform Settings > SSO.

  2. For Type select SAML 2.0.

  3. Note the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL this is used above in the RSA Cloud Authenitcation Service (CAS) configuration.

  4. For the SAML SSO URL enter the Identity Provider URL above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=1uaoqbsphit2y.

  5. For the SAML Issuer enter the Issuer Entity ID from above. For example, 1uaoqbsphit2y.

  6. the User Primary Identifier Field is nameID by default.

  7. In the Certificate field, use the contents of the metadata XML file downloaded above and copy the X.509 certification information between the tags <ds:X509Certificate></ds:X509Certificate> and paste it in the IDP Certificate field.

  8. In the User Field Mappings, click on + button to add the 2 user properties

    1. User Property = nameID and Field Value = givenName

    2. User Property = email and Field Value = mail

  9. Click on Update.

Configuration is complete.
