Issue

Log rotation of the lserver.log file in RSA ClearTrust does not seem to work

Cause

ClearTrust documentation states the log file size to be in kilobytes, which is incorrect

Resolution

For the Log Server only, the cleartrust.lserver.log.size parameter is specified in megabytes instead of kilobytes. All other server log file sizes are specified in kilobytes. Since the lowest value for this parameter is 1, the minimum log size that can be specified using this parameter is 1 megabyte.

It is possible to specify a log file size below 1 MB in size. To do this, please see the solution titled How to specify a log size smaller than 1 MB for the lserver.log in RSA ClearTrust.
