The default administration password can be changed using the tools provided as part of the Oracle 8 and 9 install. Use the following steps to change any ClearTrust User Password: 1. Open Oracle's DBA Studio and make sure that you're connected to the database instance as CT_OWNER, SYSTEM or another database owner (this is required for write permissions) 2. Expand the tree under the database instance to SCHEMA -> TABLE -> CT_OWNER 3. Right click the PASSWORD table and select "Table Data Editor". Any password entries associated with users in the database are displayed in their hashed form. Simply edit the value in the cell and click "Apply". 4. The default password for the ClearTrust user "admin" is initially encrypted with an {MD5} tag. Using {Clear} or no tag will work; however, the password must be reset from within the Entitlements GUI as soon as possible, as this will create and store it as an MD5 hash again.
