After an RSA SecurID Software Token is imported to an iOS mobile device, the app would look like the image below. By default, the first imported token would be the Active token, as shown here:
Extract the token serial number for an imported software token
- Launch the RSA SecurID Software Token for iPhone app.
- Tap the Settings icon that looks like a gear on the right of the screen, as shown below.
- Tap Token Info to view the token serial number.
- The resulting screen presents the token serial number, expiration date and the device binding ID, as shown below:
Rename an imported RSA SecurID Software Token
To rename a software token that is already imported, follow the steps below:
- Launch the RSA Soft Token Application on the iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the Settings icon that looks like a gear on the right of the screen, as shown below.
- Tap Rename Token from the pop up menu as shown here:
- Rename the token and click OK, as shown below:
Swapping between two imported RSA SecurID Software Tokens
If the RSA SecurID Software Token app has more than one token imported, the interface would look like this when launched, showing RSA Soft Token and Token 1. As mentioned, Token 1 will be active by default.
To switch from RSA Soft Token to Token1, tap on
Token1. Token1 is now the Active token.
Deleting an imported RSA SecurID Software Token
- Launch the RSA SecurID Software Token for iOS app.
- Click Edit at the bottom right of the menu, as shown below:
- To delete a token, tap the red button to the left of the corresponding token to see the following screen:
- Click the Delete button, to confirm the deletion as shown below.
- Click Done when complete.
