It's official - time to get your creative juices flowing as the RSA Charge 2019 'Call for Speakers' (C4S) is now open and awaiting your submissions!

As you are aware, the RSA Charge events represent all RSA products and an increasing number of customers across solutions attend this one-of-a-kind event each year. The RSA 2019 Charge promises to be the biggest event in our history of RSA Charge and Summit conferences.

The RSA Charge event is successful in no small part because of the stellar customer submissions we receive each year. We invite you to submit your presentation brief(s) for consideration.(That'sright, you may submit more than one submission brief!)

This year for the first time the '8' Tracksfor RSA Charge 2019 are identical across all products and represent all RSA solutions. We are pleased to present the them to you:

Transforming Your Cyber Risk Strategy- Cyber-attacks are at the top of the list of risks for many companies today.  Tell us how you are approaching reducing this risk utilizing RSA products.

Beyond the Checkbox: Modernizing Your Compliance Program - The regulatory landscape is always shifting.  How are you keeping up and what steps are you taking towards a sustainable, agile compliance program?

Aligning Third Party Risk for the Digital Transformation - Inherited risk from your business partners is a top of mind issue.  Third party risk must be attacked from multiple angles.  Share your strategy.

Managing Operational Risk for Impact-  Enterprise risk, operational risk, all things risk management.  Share your experience and strategy on how you identify, assess and treat risk across your business operations.

View from Above: Securing the Cloud - From security visibility to managing organizational mandates, what is your risk and security strategy to answer the "go to cloud" call.

Under the RSA Hood: Managing Risk in the Dynamic Workforce - The workforce has become a dynamic variable for many organizations - from remote users to BYOD to contractors and seasonal workers.  How are you addressing this shift?

Business Resiliency for the 'Always On' Enterprise - The world expects connectivity.  When the lights are off, the business suffers.  Tell us how you are ensuring your business is 'always on' - business continuity, recovery, crisis management and the resilient infrastructure.

Performance Optimization: RSA Product Learning Lab - Share your technical insights of how you use RSA products to meet your business objectives.  Extra points for cool 'insider' tips and tricks.

We know you have great stories to share with your peers, best practices, teachings, and how-to's. We hope you consider submitting a brief and thank you in advance for your consideration. More information can be found on the RSA Charge 2019 website (scroll to bottom of page) including the RSA Charge 2019 Call for Speakers Submission Form. Submission should be sent to: rsa.events@rsa.com.

Call for Speakers 'closes' April 19.

Upgrade from 5.x to 6.x With RSA Professional Services:

We can all agree that upgrading to 6.x before EOPS for 5.x kicks in on December 31 makes sense. Now it can also make sound fiscal sense too. Now, due to popular demand for the Professional Services upgrade offers, we have extended the date through February 4, 2018.

RSA Professional Services (PS) is offering two special discounts on upgrade services in order to help you make the most of the transition. Why go it alone?

Offer #1: 20% off the RSA readiness assessment and upgrade for up to three environments ($14,800 after discount)

Offer #2: 30% off a bundled purchase of RSA’s readiness assessment and upgrade for a single environment ($8,400 after discount)

Key Benefits of working with RSA PS include:

  • Ensures your environment is optimized for the latest RSA Archer upgrade
  • Work with professionals who have helped others successfully navigate the upgrade process and have insights into potential roadblocks*
  • Successful deployment of the RSA Archer software upgrade into production in a reduced timeframe by following RSA-recommended best practices    Note: May take up to 30 days for Professional Services to staff for committed work order

Read RSA Archer GRC Upgrade Services to learn more; Offer expires February 4, 2018. Contact your local Account Representative for more information about these fixed scope upgrade service offers as well as upgrade services that can be custom scoped for your specific implementation and business requirements.

Upgrading to 6.x Without Professional Services Support:

With EOPS on Dec. 31 for 5.x, the window of opportunity is closing. For those customers who wish to complete the 6.x upgrade journey without PS Support, there are several steps that are required to complete the task:

Step #1: Review the Release 6.1 and Release 6.2 subspaces on RSA Link

Step #2: Complete the Release 6.x pre-upgrade survey

Step #3: RSA Archer will review the survey information, generate, and deliver your new Release 6.x License Key, required for post-upgrade operations

Step #4: Download and install Release 6.x, execute your upgrade plan, and go live

Step #5: Notify RSA Archer that your upgrade is complete

Read RSA Upgrade Process to learn more. Contact your local Account Representative for more information about these fixed scope upgrade service offers as well as upgrade services that can be custom scoped for your specific implementation and business requirements.

At this year's RSA Charge, it was amazing to me to see so many Compliance, Risk and Security professionals in one place, learning from subject matter experts and each other through technical deep dives and business-driven use cases focused on delivering best practice and lessons learned.  I had the opportunity to speak with so many RSA customers and was inspired by the great work they are doing.

One of the highlights of the event was that over 100 RSA customers got up on stage during RSA Charge to present their unique use case and the challenges and opportunities they have addressed with the help of RSA solutions.  Thank you for sending us your feedback; it is great to see that overall you felt that the sessions were impactful and of value.

During RSA Charge you completed evaluations for the sessions that you attended.  These provide us great information, including what sessions you enjoyed the most – you confirmed that one presentation from each RSA Suite clearly stood out as being the BEST!

Out of 92 outstanding Breakout sessions that took place on Wednesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 18 winners were selected by RSA Charge 2017 attendees for being best overall in:

RSA Charge 2017’s ‘Call for Speakers’ resulted in an unprecedented number of abstract submissions across all RSA product solutions – RSA Archer Suite, RSA NetWitness Suite, RSA SecurID Suite (including RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle), and RSA Fraud & Risk Intelligence. The submissions from RSA customers and partners included the sharing of first-hand knowledge, advice, ideas, experiences, case studies, and even war stories that submitters wanted to share with their RSA product peers at the Charge event in October.

Though the RSA Charge Program Selection Committee is thrilled by the high caliber of submissions, the Committee now faces the hard task of whittling down the list of submissions to 100 across all RSA products. Though no final decisions have yet been made, the Committee noticed that there were many submissions that had similar titles and themes, so they decided to allow you the opportunity ‘voice your choice’ from a small, random subset from the abstracts received.

And, for the first time, with a registered RSA Link account, you can vote on Tracks across the entire RSA product portfolio. That’s right, you can vote on any of the product Tracks listed, but you can only vote once ‘per abstract.’

So let your voice be heard - this is your chance to 'vote your choice' and have a say in this year's RSA Charge 2017 Agenda. To vote, simply click on the Proposal Abstracts and cast your vote across all RSA Product Tracks.

Thank you for the amazing ‘Call for Speakers’ submissions for RSA Charge 2017 – it’s going to be an event you will not want to miss. If you haven’t registered for RSA Charge 2017, be sure to do so today!

We heard you loud and clear - with the upcoming long Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, school classes ending in the Midwest for the summer, and a host of work-related commitments, you wanted more time to submit Call for Speakers (C4S) Abstracts.

This is a hard deadline, however, and will not be extended again so we can meet all the time-sensitive event activities leading up to RSA Charge 2017.

All of the information to help you submit your proposal can be found on the RSA Charge 2017 microsite, including Charge registration information – though RSA Charge ‘Speakers’ receive a complimentary pass to the Charge event – another solid reason to submit!

First, check out the webinar replay of 'What You Should Know Before Submitting Your Proposal' and then use the Offline Submission Form (for practice) before submitting your proposal using the Online Submission Form. There are also FAQs to help you too.

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of the Navigator is ready for you to take it for a spin – kick the tires, put the pedal to the metal and see what the Navigator 2.0 can do to help you take control of your learning and power your path to Archer success.

RSA Archer offers a wealth of assets to help you achieve time-to-value with your Archer investment, from classroom to on-demand training through RSA University, to comprehensive user documentation, to technical videos.

But, this wealth of assets is also a double-edged sword  – how do you know which of these assets at your disposal is right for you, based on your Archer Role within your organization, and equally as important, your Level of Archer Expertise.

We took your feedback from the initial Navigator launch in October and incorporated many of your suggestions over the last few months into the new Navigator 2.0. We now have six filters to help you with finding the assets that are right for your Role and Level of Expertise. And, speaking of Level of Expertise, we changed the levels to Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced; we also changed the Focus to more clearly define the content – General Product; Platform; Modules; Release Notes and Advisories; Solutions and Use Cases; Use Case Guides; Training; and Troubleshooting.  You can also filter the list of available assets by Version 6.x or 5.x, by Cost - free or fee, and by Media Type.

We hope you are pleased with these updates to Navigator 2.0.

We want to be a partner in your Archer success. May we ask once again for you to share Navigator 2.0 comments and feedback with us?  We will, in turn, continue our quest to make the final version of the Navigator, due mid to late 2017, a support tool that can provide easy viewing and functionality on today's popular digital products such as tablets and phones, as well as on RSA Link.

In conclusion, if you don’t see a particular asset you’re looking for, we want to hear about this too. We have provided an easy-to-use drop down form on the Navigator 2.0 page for you to click and tell us what we’re missing.

Thank you in advance for sharing your comments with us.  Remember, you're in the driver's seat with Navigator 2.0 - now, enjoy the trip!

We know that there is an enormous amount of content on the Archer Customer/Partner Community, 3800+ pieces to be exact, and it grows every single day. Now add the 40 RSA University training courses, and it can be a daunting task figuring out what is relevant content based on your role within your organization, and your level of Archer experience.

We knew we had to do something to make you successful with Archer training and implementation. You’ve told us so much; and we listened, and acted.

We are pleased to announce that on October 25, at RSA Charge 2016, and also on the Archer GRC Community, we will be launching the new Archer NAVIGATOR Tool.

This NAVIGATOR Tool is the FIRST step in an ongoing 3-step campaign to make it easier for Archer customers like you to find relevant training and documentation, plus helpful support content, based on your role within your organization – Archer Admin, Archer Tech Admin, Business User, or End User, and your knowledge level of Archer - from Getting Started (1-2 years), to Expanding (3-4 years) to Advanced (5 years+).

Phase 2 will start right after Charge, and Phase 3 of the NAVIGATOR Tool will launch in Q1 2017.

There is a dedicated team of Archer employees, across different business units to help you take charge and power your way to Archer success. The team is focused on building upon each Phase of the NAVIGATOR Tool to make a significant improvement over the prior version. And, we will count on your feedback to help us reach this goal.
