We know that there is an enormous amount of content on the Archer Customer/Partner Community, 3800+ pieces to be exact, and it grows every single day. Now add the 40 RSA University training courses, and it can be a daunting task figuring out what is relevant content based on your role within your organization, and your level of Archer experience.

We knew we had to do something to make you successful with Archer training and implementation. You’ve told us so much; and we listened, and acted.

We are pleased to announce that on October 25, at RSA Charge 2016, and also on the Archer GRC Community, we will be launching the new Archer NAVIGATOR Tool.

This NAVIGATOR Tool is the FIRST step in an ongoing 3-step campaign to make it easier for Archer customers like you to find relevant training and documentation, plus helpful support content, based on your role within your organization – Archer Admin, Archer Tech Admin, Business User, or End User, and your knowledge level of Archer - from Getting Started (1-2 years), to Expanding (3-4 years) to Advanced (5 years+).

Phase 2 will start right after Charge, and Phase 3 of the NAVIGATOR Tool will launch in Q1 2017.

There is a dedicated team of Archer employees, across different business units to help you take charge and power your way to Archer success. The team is focused on building upon each Phase of the NAVIGATOR Tool to make a significant improvement over the prior version. And, we will count on your feedback to help us reach this goal. Our endgame at the conclusion of Phase 3 will be to deliver you an automated solution to manage our informational assets, helping you be an Archer success.

Over the next several weeks, leading up to Charge 2016, you will see blogs from Kathy Coe, Education Services/RSA University; Anya Kricsfeld, Technical Support; Megan Olvera, Education Services/RSA University; Meg O’Neil, Engineering; Susan Read-Miller, Product Marketing; Amy Robertson, Solutions; Denise Sposato, Product Marketing/Communities; and Elizabeth Wenzel, Technical Publications.

If you are attending RSA Charge 2016, there will be 3 lab sessions in Room 225 that you can register to attend on the RSA Charge 2016 microsite, or just drop by. If you haven’t registered yet for RSA Charge 2016, do so today, or visit the RSA Charge microsite for full details.

Until now, organizations have primarily focused on risks that can be managed through the implementation of controls, but offer little to no upside or benefit. However, with increasing stakeholder demands and an ever-evolving business landscape, leading organizations are now focusing more of their time and efforts on managing the risks that impact value creation.

The Survey concluded that organizations that directly involve risk management are better able to identify, manage and respond to the risks that impact their business and are better positioned to capitalize on the upside potential of risk.

We invite you to peruse the entire EY GRC Survey 2015 - today. You just may look at risk differently.

With a record number of speaker proposals received for consideration for this year's GRC Summit, the Summit Program Committee will no longer be the lone voice in the final Archer selection process.

This year we are pleased to announce the debut of 'Archer Community Selects.' Beginning Monday, June 22 and running through Thursday, July 2, you and your GRC peers will now be able to 'voice your choice' for a session in each track that you believe should be selected for a presentation slot. The session with the most votes for that track will automatically be selected; runners-up will be considered as alternatives, to be invited to present in the event of a cancellation.

The sessions for the 'Archer Community Selects' are only a subset of the speaker proposals we received; submission for all Archer Summit proposals are still under consideration by the Program Committee, and speakers will be notified of final decisions by mid-July.

This is your chance to 'vote your choice' and have a say in this year's Summit Agenda. To vote, simply login to the Archer Community if you're not already, and click on the Proposal Abstracts listed below.

Good luck and happy voting!

2nd Annual Awards Program Recognizes Real-World Implementations Advancing the Value of GRC Strategy, Process, and Technology

2014 GRC Value Award.jpg

GRC analyst firm GRC 20/20 has announced that a large Commercial Bank in the U.S. and RSA Archer have been honored with a 2014 GRC Value Award for the category of Enterprise GRC Platform. The 2nd annual GRC Value Awards recognize real-world implementations for Governance, Risk Management and Compliance programs and processes that have returned significant and measurable value to an organization.

According to Michael Rasmussen, Chief GRC Pundit for GRC 20/20 and internationally recognized expert, “This large Commercial Bank has demonstrated proven business value in Enterprise GRC Platforms with its implementation of RSA Archer as the backbone of their integrated Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance program.” In the report, Mr. Rasmussen indicates that the greatest strength in this financial institution's GRC Platform architecture is the interconnectedness of the Platform and the ability to quickly enhance existing solutions or add new use cases.

The GRC Value Awards evaluate and verify both quantitative and qualitative measures of GRC agility, effectiveness, and efficiency within an organization’s GRC implementation.  This large Commercial Bank has a large risk and compliance technology implementation that addresses many business users across multiple business units for a variety of GRC use cases. Through their risk and compliance technology innovation, they have been able to save approximately $1.65 million annually and report significant reductions in time and cost of managing the disparate and disconnected solutions that existed prior to RSA Archer.

According to Mr. Rasmussen, “It is imperative that we recognize today’s successes as a milestone toward advancing GRC maturity. In achieving maturity, GRC is part of the organization’s strategy and operations and supported by a range of technology, knowledge and services - enabling the organization to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness, and agility in GRC processes and broader business operations.”  We cannot agree more!  RSA Archer heartily congratulates this financial institution on their award-winning and innovative implementation of the RSA Archer GRC Platform and we look forward to seeing continued risk and compliance growth for this Commercial Bank.

You can obtain more information about this GRC implementation by reviewing their case study.  In addition, we encourage you to visit the GRC 20/20 website for more information about the GRC Value Awards.
