CauseThe Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) application has no access to the RSA Authentication Agent for Web for Microsoft Internet Information Services resources.
WorkaroundProvide the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) application access to the RSA Authentication Agent for Web for Microsoft Internet Information Services resources by changing the application pool.

To change an Application Pool for the application:
  1. In the Connections pane of the IIS Manager, double-click server_name, and then click Sites > Default Web Site > {application_name}.
  2. Right click {application_name} and select Manage Application > Advanced Settings.
  3. Select the Application pool as RSA SecurID Pool.
  4. Enter the application URL into the web browser. It would be expected that you are prompted for a SecurID authentication. After successful authentication, the web browser is redirected back to the application.
