IssueWhen you navigate to stats of core services from SA Web UI, you face following error "You do not have permission to the Host System Info" as shown below.
(This is an example in broker service)
User-added image
CauseThis is because the user created and permissions are not mapped to the broker service.
WorkaroundIn this case, you need to perform following steps to resolve the issue.
  1. Add user to the broker service.
broker > security > User : should create a new user with name Administrator.
Check Role Membership whether it is empty or not.
  2. Replicate the role permissions from the other working broker.
broker > security > Roles > Administrators : "REPLICATE" to the non-working broker service.
  3. Go to the broker which is causing the issue and check role membership : should be populated with Admin groups.
  4. On SA head and broker node, run puppet agent to correct any sync issue between SA head and Broker.
  5. Also restart collectd and mcollective services.
    SA head :
    # puppet agent -t -d
    # service collectd restart
    # service mcollective restart

    Broker :
    # puppet agent -t -d
    # service collectd restart
    # service mcollective restart
    # restart nwappliance
  6. On broker service page -> test connection :Check whether SSL selected or not. If not, mark it to use SSL for the connection.
  7. Checked in UI, now able to show stats/system/explore for the broker service.

After above steps, you are able to see the host information from SA Web UI.
