RSA Version/Condition: 6.6 and up
IssueIn RSA Archer 6.6 and higher, when a current session exists in Archer, and a user clicks on an emailed link for a specific screen (report/record/dashboard, so forth), they are still redirected to the RSA Archer Suite login screen. This even occurs if the user re-authenticates and then tries the link again.
CauseThis is caused by a mismatch in the Default website URL in the RSA Archer Control Panel and the website name in IIS.
ResolutionFollow the steps below to resolve the issue.
  1. Launch IIS.
  2. Review the RSA Archer website name. (for example: IIS Server > Default Website > RSAarcher).

  1. Compare the URL in the Archer Control Panel to the IIS directory name. (for example, http://archerwebserver/rsaarcher).

  1. Update the RSA Archer Control Panel URL to match case and spelling with the IIS directory name (for example, rsaarcher must be updated to RSAarcher).
