Issue | How can account access be prevented when a password expires based on the Password Expiration date in a Password Policy defined in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle? |
Resolution | By default when a password expires in an application, users are unable to login until they change their password. If that same account is also used to authenticate their access to RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle, users will not be able to login to RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. That is because when users authenticate to RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle, their password is authenticated by the data source and not by RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. No user passwords are saved in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. |
