RSA announces the release of RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 6 (7.3 P6)

Summary:

With this release, RSA provides new enhancements and fixes to issues reported on RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 previously released versions. This release also extends the supported platforms available.

 

What's New in This Release:


New Transaction Details Facts in the Policy Management Application

The Policy Management Application, Transaction Details section, includes several new facts:

  • Hour of the Day fact defines the hours of the day during which a transaction takes place. # of Payments During Last Hour fact counts the total number of payments to a specific payee made by the end user during the past hour. The sensor resets the count every hour irrespective of event type.
  • # of Payments During Last 10 Minutes fact counts the total number of payments to a specific payee made by the end user during the past 10 minutes. The sensor resets the count every 10 minutes irrespective of event type.
  • # of Payments During Last Hour fact counts the total number of payments to a specific payee made by the end user during the past hour. The sensor resets the count every hour irrespective of event type.

  • # of Payments During Last 4 Hours fact counts the total number of payments to a specific payee made by the end user during the past four hours, The sensor resets the count every four hours irrespective of event type.
  • # of Payments During Last 24 Hours fact counts the total number of payments to a specific payee made by the end user during the past 24 hours, The sensor resets the count every 24 hours irrespective of event type.

Search Users in the Access Management Application

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces the ability to search for users in the Access Management application. This new functionality significantly enhances the speed and ease of use when searching the application for users and navigating to user accounts.

 


Certifications

Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2017: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces support for Microsoft SQL Server 2017 on Windows and Linux.

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 supports TDE.

 

Support for Oracle 12cR2: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces support for Oracle 12cR2 including support for multi-tenancy.

 

Support for IBM WebSphere 9: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces support for WebSphere 9.

 

Support for Open JDK 8: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces support for Open JDK 8.

Note: Open JDK is not supported by IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic.

 

Drools Upgrade: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 has upgraded drools from 5.6.0.Final to version 7.15.0.Final.

 

Retiring support of Java 7: Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) 7.3 P6 does not support Java 7. Customers using Java 7 must upgrade to Java 8.

 

Note: 

Leveraging push notifications through RSA Adaptive Authentication requires licensing the Azure Notification Hub directly with Microsoft. The overall challenge flow is unchanged, but the customer now manages the Notification Hub. The customer must set the table in Azure and follow RSA instructions, which includes creating an Azure table and performing some Azure API tasks, such as updating the API and cleaning up the API in the customer's Azure. RSA assumes no liability or responsibility for the Azure service. For more information, contact your RSA representative.

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P6 introduces an upgraded documentation set, to enhance clarity and usability.

 

Upgrade:

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 6 includes a direct upgrade from RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3, 7.3 P1, 7.3 P2, 7.3 P3, 7.3 P4 or 7.3 P5.
