Summary:

RSA announces the release of RSA BSAFE® SSL-J 6.2.5.

 

This release of SSL-J is designed to provide the following:

  • Added support for the following standard JDK parameters:
    • jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms
    • jdk.tls.ephemeralDHKeySize
    • jdk.tls.server.defaultDHEParameters
  • Includes RSA BSAFE Crypto-J 6.2.5 for its cryptography module
  • Support for Cert-J 6.2.4

FIPS Validation Status:
This release of SSL-J uses RSA BSAFE Crypto-J 6.2.5 module which is in the FIPS 140-2 validation process. You can track the progress of the module on the Modules In Process List posted by the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) at https://csrc.nist.gov/Projects/cryptographic-module-validation-program/Modules-In-Process/Modules-In-Process-List
