RSA announces RSA Authentication Manager 8.4 Patch 8. This patch (available here) contains important product updates.  See the Readme for information about the contents of the patch.

The Patch 8 Readme describes how to enable the PowerVault self-encrypting hard drive feature on the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance 350. This feature makes the Model 350 hardware appliance even more secure. You can enable this feature on any Model 350 hardware appliance, including ones that you currently own. There is minimal or no impact on performance.

An updated web-tier server (available here) is also available with Patch 8. See the web-tier server Readme for information on the updates to the web-tier server.

RSA recommends that you apply Patch 8 and deploy the updated web-tier server at the earliest opportunity.
