IssueThe Edit and Cancel buttons in a change request cannot be disabled for requests created through roles in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.

In the following example, requests created through roles are processed using the Delegation only workflow as defined in the user interface by navigating to Requests > Workflows > Overview.

The Delegation only workflow has the following settings disabled:

  • Edit Allowed After Submission
  • Cancel Allowed After Submission
  • Allow Cancel in FulfillmentPhase

Navigate to Requests > Workflows > Request tab > {Delegation only} > right-hand side under REQUEST SETTINGS to define these settings.

When a change request is generated that makes changes to a role, note that the Edit and Cancel buttons are still enabled.

CauseThis is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-95367.

ResolutionThis issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle versions and patch levels:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P03
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.0

Once the fix version has been applied, the Edit and Cancel buttons are visible but grayed out and therefore disabled.
