Issue | When filling out a Request Form based on an Account Template, the Request Form field shows the following error instead of the expected value: !!!Unexpected identifier!!! The following example illustrates this behavior: |
Cause | This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-90293. This issue occurs if one of the fields of the Account Template has a value containing a space (i.e. Account Name rather than AccountName). |
Resolution | This issue is resolved in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P01. The fix is to disallow special characters other than '_' and '$' in Account Template attribute names. |
Workaround | Replace the error message with the value needed to complete the request. For example, for a user named Cherry Blossom, change: FROM: !!!Unexpected identifier!!! TO: blossomc and then complete the remaining form fields and submit the request. |
Notes | See related RSA Knowledge Base Article 000039050 -- Special characters other than '_' and '$' are not allowed for Variables in Account Template Fields in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. |
