With this release, RSA provides new enhancements and fixes to issues reported on RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 previously released versions. This release also extends the supported platforms available.
What's New in This Release:
Enhanced Device Identification Capabilities
Adaptive Authentication 7.3 P7 includes enhanced device identification capabilities, to more accurately identify the user device and increase detection of fraudulent activity.
In the Back Office application, there is a new Enable Other Device Param verification parameter. This parameter sends additional device details together with the devicetokencookie to identify the user device.
Note: If you enable the Enable Other Device Param verification you must provide the required device details in every SOAP call.
By default, the Enable Other Device Param verification parameter is disabled, and the devicetokencookie is used to identify the device.

New Profile Cleanup Utility
The new standalone Profile Cleanup utility enables you to remove inactive profiles from the system, and includes the following options:
- Run the profile cleanup task.
- Encrypt the credentials in the config.properties file.
- Configure the time period after which inactive profiles are deleted from the system.
To work with the Profile Cleanup utility, you must change your procedures.
- For Oracle, the database must be partitioned.
- For MS SQL, both partitioned and non-partitioned databases may be used.
Note: RSA strongly recommends using a partitioned database for Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) for optimal performance. If you require a non-partitioned database there may be performance issues, and there may be downtime if you subsequently migrate to a partitioned database. To migrate from a non-partitioned database to a partitioned database, contact your RSA representative for support.

Note: The Profile Cleanup utility must be used with all versions of Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise).
RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P7 introduces support for:
- Oracle 19c
Adaptive Authentication 7.3 P7 supports Multi-Tenant functionality for Oracle 19C with WebSphere.
- RHEL 7.7
- Weblogic 12c R2 (184.108.40.206)
The Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P7 documentation set has been updated to align with the RSA rebranding efforts to provide an updated look and feel. The documentation includes a number of formatting changes, such as a new cover page with a unique image for the Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) product, updated fonts, and new colors.
As part of the update, the Administration Console chapter has been moved from the Operations Guide to the Back Office User Guide, to align with the other Back Office applications.
Adobe Flash Player End of Support
Adobe will end support of Flash Player on December 31, 2020. RSA recommends that customers disable the Flash shared objects (FSO) from device binding, and use the DeviceTokenCookie created by Adaptive Authentication.
Note: If the DeviceTokenCookie is deleted, you can use the DeviceRecovery mechanism to identify the device.
RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 7 includes a direct upgrade from RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3, 7.3 P1, 7.3 P2, 7.3 P3, 7.3 P4, 7.3 P5 or 7.3 P6.
