IssueThere are many reasons to get Archer instance name using a browser:
  • No access to the Archer Control Panel installed on Windows servers
  • Confirm the instance name syntax because it is case-sensitive.
  • Troubleshooting Archer API login or authentication issues
  • Default instance is enabled in Archer Control Panel.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled.
Resolution
  1. Browse to Archer and login.
  2. After the homepage loads, open the browser developer tools.  Keyboard shortcut is usually F12.
  3. Go to the Console tab.
  4. Enter one of the following commands depending on the Archer version and take note of the value returned.
