IssueWhen attempting to access the Languages menu in the Administration page (Globalization), an "Unexpected Error" occurs and the page will not load. There is no error Log ID shown and there are no error entries that are recorded in the w3wp log when the page is accessed.

Error encountered:
User-added image
CauseThe issue occurs because the last updated user for a language has been deleted in the instance.
ResolutionThis is outlined in ARCHER-84419 - Unexpected Error on Manage Languages page when the updated by user is deleted.
Fixed in 6.8.
WorkaroundThe script below updates the impacted language in the database.

update tbllanguage
set update_login = <any-active-user>
where language_id = <impacted-language>

<impacted-language> refers to the specific language for which update_login contains the deleted user.

Example:

update tbllanguage
set update_login = 184
where language_id = 2

184 is the default userID for the default Translation user, userMigrationUser. But any active userID would work.

You can get user_id from this query:

select user_id from tbluser where user_username = 'userMigrationUser'
