IssuePhysical Path is directly accessible through the Physical Path Credentials as directories are not assigned to application pools automatically. 
 
Resolution
  1. Log on to the Web/IIS server using an administrative account.
  2. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  3. Expand the server name and sites.
  4. Right-click the Archer website and then click Virtual Directory.
  5. On the Virtual Directory Alias, type the alias that you want (for example, company_files).
  6. On the Physical Path, type the UNC path to the remote folder that you have created (for example, \\ServerName\company_files).
  7. Click Ok.
  8. On the Actions pane, click Advanced Settings under Edit Virtual Directory.
  9. In the Physical Path Credentials, click ... and select Specific User.
  10. Click the Set button and Enter the credentials. 
  11. Perform iisreset.
  12. Do the same for the rest of the Web/IIS Servers.
