Exception: System.Net.WebException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure. ---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.


 
CauseThe connection to the Vendor Portal Service Server returned an SSL error that it was unable to navigate in code. The default behavior is to refuse the connection.
Resolution
 
WorkaroundEdit the Archer Vendor Portal Service\Store\PortalDataStore.json file on the Vendor Portal Service server and change the value on the following line from false to true.
 

"BypassSslErrors": true


Restart the Archer Vendor Portal Service, then publish the assessment again.
