Summary:

RSA continues to provide our customers with great features, community-driven enhancements, new solution capabilities, performance improvements, product updates and general fixes for our RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle product offering. Customers can take advantage of these qualities by making sure their deployments are up-to-date and running the latest product version, found here: RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.1

RSA would like to remind customers who are using a 7.1.x version of RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle that it will reach End of Primary Support (EOPS) in March 2021 – please refer to the Product Version Life Cycle for RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle page for additional details.

While product support calls can still be placed for issues encountered on this version after the EOPS date, the standard patch support processes will no longer be generally available.

For additional information on the most recent release, please review the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle v7.2.1 Announcement Advisory, which includes the following improvement areas:

  • Access Assurance – Leveraging a Continuous and Risk-Based Access Assurance model that incorporates Identity and Access analytics to help organizations mitigate digital access risks by ensuring the highest levels of insights, confidence and assurance across an organizations most critical and sensitive assets.
  • Business User Experience - Providing a Simple, Informed and Guided Business User Experience which enables business users to focus on what is truly important and understand the risk (and impact) by surfacing additional rich context, highlighting areas of importance and prioritization of higher risk items. This unique experience lessens the burden of Identity management and governance processes on the business.

  • Customer Success – making it easier to deploy, manage, operate, maintain and expand the RSA solution by leveraging solutions that enable quick and efficient implementation and operations of core Identity management processes - coupled with metrics that highlight ongoing business value.
