RSA Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce is a comprehensive authentication and fraud detection solution for the eCommerce market. The solution is based on the 3DSecure protocol ("Verified By Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode") and is powered by risk-based authentication, an intelligent system that authenticates a user by measuring a series of risk indicators. Transparent authentication provides a user-experience in which a customer is only challenged in high-risk scenarios.

What's New in Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce v17.2

Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce v17.2 includes the following enhancements:

-       New SMS Vendor (Telesign). RSA extends its authentication methods offering through a partnership with Telesign for Out-of-Band (OOB) step-up authentication, to provide wider geographical coverage and state-of-the-art SMS techniques and capabilities.

-       New MasterCard History Server. To ensure compliance with the new MasterCard mandate, RSA sends the transactional details of all MasterCard Securecode transactions processed by RSA to MasterCard.

-       Enhanced Back Office API. The optional Back Office API, that enables integration with other fraud management platforms, has been enhanced to align it with the Policy Management application. The Back Office API shares the same policy and risk level details presented per transaction via the web-based Case Management portal.

UAT Availability

The UAT environment is available from December 21, 2014.
