Summary:

 

RSA is discontinuing support for RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2. The effective date for end of support will be September 2009.

 
 

RSA is discontinuing support for RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2 and 5.7.3. The effective date for end of support will be December 2009, with the option of up to one additional year of extended support.

 
 

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) version 6.0.2.1 has been available since November 2007, and is the upgrade path for the versions above.

 
 

Description:

 

RSA is discontinuing support of RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2 and 5.7.3 to ensure better support and up-to-date protection for the customer base.

 
       
  • For versions 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, End of Primary Support date will be September 30, 2009. 
  •    
  • For version 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2 and 5.7.3 End of Primary Support date will be December 31, 2009.  Customers will have the option to purchase up to one additional year of extended support.
  •    
  • These end of support dates also refer to any sub version, service pack, patch or fix issued for these versions, to all or some customers. For details please refer to the Affected Products list below.

Customers using these versions should plan to complete their upgrade to a later version by or before the end of support dates listed above.

 
 

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) 6.0.2.1 is the latest version available, released in November 2007.  It offers customers new and enhanced layers of defense, including:

  • Self-learning Risk Engine
  •    
  • Case Management application
  •    
  • New authentication methods:         
             
    • Out of Band Phone
    •        
    • Out of Band Email
    •        
    • Generate and Match OTP (enable Out of Band)

  • Multi-Credential Framework that enables adding Authentication Plug-Ins easily
  •    
  • Enhanced web channel fraud detection
  •    
  • Mobile channel fraud detection
