RSA, The Security Division of EMC, announces the release of Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) Service Pack 1 Patch 2 ( SP1 P2). 
  This patch provides enhancements and fixes to the SP1 P1 release. SP1 P2 includes all of the enhancements and fixes that were released as part of SP1 P1 making the latter obsolete. SP1 P2 can be applied either on top of the SP1 P1 or on top of SP1 itself.


Major functionality introduced in this patch:

  • DB2 8.2 Support
  • Direct upgrade path from AA 5.7.2/ 5.7.3 to SP1 P2 (manual upgrade)
  • Certification of 5.7.2/5.7.3 to SP1 P2 backwards compatibility
  • Baits
  • Diagnostic Manager
  • Bug fixes

Note: Installing SP1 P2 does not require manual configuration changes apart for those explicitly mentioned in the Release Notes (for CRE Offline Tasks).


Important: This patch is highly recommended for customers who have installed SP1 P1 and is mandatory for customers who have only installed the SP1.




All of the platforms that were supported by SP1 with the addition of DB2 (v8.2).
