Summary:

 

RSA, the Security Division of EMC (www.rsa.com) is extending the end-of-support dates originally announced in September, 2008.

  The new effective date for end-of-support for RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 is June 30, 2010.

  The new effective date for end-of-support for RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2 and 5.7.3 is June 30, 2010, with the option of up to one additional year of extended support until June 30, 2011.

  RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 6.0.2.1, released in November, 2007, is the upgrade path for 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2, and 5.7.3.

 
 

Description:

 

RSA is extending the end-of-support dates of RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2, and 5.7.3, as follows:

 
       
  • End-of-primary-support date: June 30, 2010
  •    
  • Customers using 5.7.0, 5.7.1, 5.7.2, or 5.7.3 have the option to purchase up to one additional year of extended support until June 30, 2011. Please contact your RSA Account Manager for more details.
  •    
  • Applies to any sub-version, service pack, patch or fix issued for these versions, to any or all customers. For details see the Affected Products list below.
  •    
  • Customers using these versions should plan to complete the upgrade to a later version by or before the end of the support dates listed above.

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) 6.0.2.1, the latest available version released in November, 2007, offers new and enhanced layers of defense, including:

    • Out-of-band phone
    •        
    • Out-of-band email
    •
