Summary:

RSA, The Security Division of EMC, announces Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce v14.0

Description:

RSA Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce is a comprehensive authentication and fraud
detection solution for the eCommerce market. Offered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, the solution is based on the 3DSecure protocol (""Verified By Visa"", ""MasterCard SecureCode"") and is powered by risk-based authentication, an intelligent system that authenticates users by measuring a series of risk indicators. This transparent authentication provides for a superior user experience as customers are only challenged in the highest risk scenarios.

Version 14.0 introduces the following functional and technical enhancements:

  • Better fraud detection - by applying a set of risk model improvements, including new fraud predictors, improved real-time statistical analytics, and improved self-learning and self-tuning capabilities
  •
  • Enabling more timely fraud investigation and faster response -  by faster reporting of cases (alerts) to the Case Management where the fraud team could investigate those
  •
  • Technical infrastructure improvement - by upgrading software platforms
  •

Below are the planned installation dates of Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce v14.0:

  • US hosting center: April 15th, 2012
  •
  • UK hosting center: April 22nd, 2012
