RSA, The Security Division of EMC, announces the release of Web Threat Detection 5.0.2. The release includes 12 fixes. Only the highlights of the release are provided here. For further details, please refer to the Release Notes.
1) Mitigator failing intermittently is fixed. The Mitigator failed for the following reasons
a. Rules that do not have a wildcard as a checkpoint.
b. At least one transaction is seen for the checkpoint/page in question.
c. No traffic is seen for the page for one or more days.
2) Installer process has been streamlined to reduce total product installation time.
3) Authentication issues, for users with certain roles, have been fixed
4) Inaccurate rule alert counters and Incident email firing have been fixed.
The RSA Web Threat Detection platform runs on CentOS 6.x or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x.
RSA recommends that customers upgrade to RSA Web Threat Detection 5.0.2 now available for download at RSA Web Threat Detection v5.0.2
