In the section of the document Default XSL Stylesheet: "The default XSL style sheet available out of the box is leveraged to transform the report XML in order to load the source definition fields and finally map them to fields in the target application. It is accessible in the XML File Definition section under the Navigation tab. To load it initially, click Load Transform, and then select the Default source option. The style sheet consists of templates that enable you to process specific field types uniquely."
My questions are:
1) Where I can find "XML File Definition section under the Navigation tab" on the GUI ?
2) I tryed to use on my file examples under the sections "Record Node Template" and "Root Node Template" but they doesn't work. Have I got to insert into the .xsl file something like: http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">. It is not clear in the document.
You have to set up an Archer to Archer datafeed (Archer Web Services Transporter)
Add new, click the 'Navigation' tab and you'll see a 'Load Transform' link to the right on the 'XML File Definition' section.
Thanx a lot! (the fact was that with transport Only the 'Navigation' tab is not available, so I set temporarily the Data Feed in Standard mode to get it). It solved, using it I'm able to finally open the file in table format in Microsoft Excel.
Thank you for posting...I am having an issue and I believe it is related to the transform. I was curious if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to resolve it. Basically I have a File Transporter Data Feed that is reading in multiple files (from different instances) in order to create records in a new source instance. I used the default transform and loaded in the XML for one of the source instances (the report xml that was generated). When I run the feed it is reading both files and creating the parent records but only creating the child records for the XML file that I used to load into the source. Does this make sense? Any ideas on what to do?
