Summary:
RSA, The Security Division of EMC, is reminding all users of the scheduled End of Product Support (EOPS) for RSA ECAT 4.0, as well as all its derivative patches. RSA ECAT 4.0 will reach End of Product Support (EOPS) by August 30, 2016. Extended support will not be offered.

Recommendation:

  • Customers that have deployed RSA ECAT 4.0 are encouraged to upgrade to the latest RSA ECAT version, currently ECAT 4.1, as soon as possible. Please contact your local RSA Sales Representative or RSA Customer Support if there are any questions or concerns with the upgrade. Full details and instructions for upgrading are provided in the upgrade documentation.
  • For customers that have deployed RSA ECAT 3.5 or earlier, there is no supported direct upgrade path from version 3.5 directly to 4.1. These customers are strongly urged to first upgrade to RSA ECAT 4.0, before EOPS on August 30, 2016, and then upgrade to ECAT 4.1. Please contact your local RSA Sales Representative or RSA Customer Support if there are any questions or concerns with the upgrade.
