IssueProvide two-factor authentication for a Microsoft Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution.
ResolutionRSA Authentication Agent 6.1.4 for Windows offered remote authentication for Routing and Remote Access Service with and without the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) however this agent is no longer supported by RSA as of December 2012 but the agent is still available for download for those customers wishing to still use it without support.
The RSA EAP Client 7.1 for Microsoft Windows is also no longer supported by RSA as of December 2012 and product life cycle information is available at URL http://www.emc.com/support/rsa/eops/agents.htm.
 
RSA only offers RSA Authentication Agent 7.x for Windows to protect the local console access or remote access via a Remote Desktop Connection of the Windows workstation for supported Windows platforms.
