ResolutionFull cache clear in IE 8:
  1.  Open Internet Options from the Tools menu (Figure 1)

2. From the General tab, under Browsing History, click “Delete” and check all options in the Delete Browsing History window (Figure 2). Be sure to uncheck “Preserve Favorites Website Data”.

3. Confirm full deletion of cache by clicking “Settings”  and then clicking “View files” in the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings popup (Figure 3)

4. Delete any remaining files in the Temporary Internet Files folder to ensure the folder is empty (Figure 4)

To clear the Silverlight Cache:
  1. go to Preferences. 
  2. Right-click the window and select Silverlight.

  3. In the Silverlight window, select the Storage tab and click Delete All.

  4. Click OK to close window.
  5. Close all browser windows, and open a new Internet Explorer window to continue working.
