IssueThis article provides information on how to configure the single quote (') character for use in email addresses for emails in AAoP, such as john.o'brien@domain.com.
Resolution
  1. Update the validate.emailInfo.properties file as in the example below.  Include the ' or single quote character in the address.regexplist validator string.  The file is available in the /rsa/configs/ folder.

default.validators=blacklist,length
address.validators=email,length,regexplist
lastModified.validators=isodate,illegalchars
label.validators=length
label.filters=trim
label.length=1,256
props=reference,address,label,lastModified
address.regexplist=[A-Za-z0-9'@_\.-]*,^[_A-Za-z0-9'-]+(\\.[_A-Za-z0-9-']+)*@[A-Za-z0-9-]+(\\.[A-Za-z0-9-]+)*(\\.[_A-Za-z0-9-]+)
address.filters=trim
address.length=1,256
reference.validators=integer,illegalchars

  1. When done, clean the application server caches and restart the AAOP services.
