|Tasks||You must first obtain the latest DVD ISO file: saupgrade-10.4.x.x.xxxxx-xxx-dvd.iso|
You should also compare the provided md5 sum with that of the .iso file you downloaded to ensure you have the proper file.
|Resolution||You must first log into your device's IDRAC console and bring up the virtual console. If you have not already done so, you will also need to power off the appliance. |
When you bring up the virtual console and the device is in a powered off state it will look like this:
From this screen you will need to select Virtual Media > Connect Virtual Media.
Once that process has completed you will need to go back to Virtual Media > Map CD/DVD.
From the menu that appears you will need to select the DVD ISO file that you downloaded. Click Map Device.
After you have done this power on the device and press F11 to enter the BIOS Boot Manager
From here you will need to select the BIOS Boot Menu
Select the DVD ISO you just mapped
|Notes||Please note: this process may take some time depending on your network connection to the appliance. Consider using a physical device to re-image your appliance (USB Stick or DVD ROM) as it is much faster.|
