RSA Product/Service Type: Identity Router (IDR)

IssueWhen selecting Commit to apply the IDR network settings via its virtual console any of the following message(s) may appear, even though network settings are valid:

Management IP is invalid
Management Netmask is invalid
Management Gateway is invalid
Proxy IP is invalid
Proxy Netmask is invalid
Proxy Gateway is invalid
DNS server cannot be empty


  1. Review any network setting referenced by an error message. If the text inside the text boxes is displayed in blue (cyan) the setting has not been saved.
  2. Hit TAB to place the cursor in the field causing the error and then hit F10. The text should change from blue to grey. At this point the setting has been saved, but not yet applied/committed.
  3. Commit your changes.
