Platform: CentOS
O/S Version: EL5, EL6
IssueWhen using the DAC Installation Script as explained in the Security Analytics Hardware Setup Guide, additional arguments must be passed if SSL is enabled in REST or the admin user is not using the default password.
ResolutionUse the additional arguments below based on the situation.
  • If SSL is enabled in REST, the following parameters should be entered:
    -c CRYP

         OR
    --ssl=CRYP

  • If the admin user is not using the default password the password can be passed with the following arguments:
    -u admin -w <Password>

  • If the Security Analytics appliance is a log decoder:
    -s logdecoder

         OR
    --services=logdecoder
