Issue | In RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle under Admin > Email, there is the capability to configure email test options. One of the options, Redirect All Email To, is used to send all email to a specific recipient when testing the email functionality. There are times when this setting may need to be modified or disabled and the user interface is not available. For example, when restoring a backup to another system and before the system is restarted, you may need to modify the recipient of test emails to prevent emails being sent to the incorrect recipient or you may need to ensure no emails are sent (disable) from the newly restored system. This RSA Knowledge Base Article explains how to modify or disable the Redirect All Email To Email Test Option when the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle user interface is unavailable. To see these options, in the user interface go to Admin > Email and scroll to the bottom. |
Resolution | The preferred method to change this setting is through the user interface. This resolution is only for those situations where the user interface is unavailable. Please contact RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle Customer Support for resolution and mention this RSA Knowledge Base Article ID 000031234 for reference. |
Notes | In RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle versions 7.0.2 and below, you may not see the Redirect All Email To option on the Admin > Email > Settings tab. To make this option viewable, in the user interface go to Admin > Email > Settings tab > Edit and toggle Yes to the option Redirect All Email To Single Recipient. Starting in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 and higher, this option is viewable by default. |
