IssueThis article explains how to apply an Endpoint hot fix in your RSA Data Loss Prevention environment.

To apply the Endpoint hot fix: 

  1. Check your RSA DLP version via the Enterprise Manager GUI (Admin > Support > About RSA Data Loss Prevention and check the version. 
  2. Via the RSA SFTP server, navigate to /Distribution/support/Patches/DLP/.
  3. Download the hot fix package that is compatible to the DLP version you are running. 
  4. Deploy the hot fix package on the EM server.
  5.  Open the EM GUI and navigate to Admin > Support > Upgrade Manager
  6. Scroll-down to Agent Patch Deployment.
  7. Click Deploy agent patch.
  8. Go to your endpoint workstation and navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\RSA\Enforce\bin directory.
  9. Open the EPMgr file and observe the change in Reported Version to verify that the hot fix has been applied  to the endpoint agent.
