|Issue||The review owner configures what states are available to reviewers on the States tab. Out of the box, the Maintain and Revoke states are available, as well as the option for a a custom state. The Modify state is a new action button that can be added to reviews. This state allows the reviewer to revoke a object from a user and replace it with another object from the same business source.|
To enable this option, navigate in the UI to Admin > System and click Edit. At the very bottom of the resulting page, underneath the Custom table, there are two blank input fields. In the first field enter custom.ReviewModifyEnts, in the second field enter true. Then click the save button to the right. The option should now be present in the table just above the input fields
The functionality can now be leveraged in the product. In a review definition on the states tab you can enable the button. Unlike Maintain and Revoke, Modify can be filtered to be available to target users or on target object types. By default it will be available to all users on all objects in the review.
Once enabled the Modify button will appear in the next review run.
|Notes||It it worth reiterating that the button will only allow the user to add an object from the same business source as the object being removed.|
If the account associated with the object being Modified is deleted or disabled, the modify will fail to complete and you will be notified at the sign-off prompt with the message "Change request cannot be created"
