IssueI need to know how to generate the RSA Archer Configuration Reports for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes.
ResolutionHow to Generate the RSA Archer Configuration Reports (Installation and Instance)
  1. Log on to a server where RSA Archer is installed.
  2. Go to Start > All Programs > RSA Archer > Right click on 'RSA Archer Control Panel' > Run as Administrator.
  3. On the RSA Archer Control Panel Screen, Click on Plugins > 'Configuration Report' as shown below:

Installation Report



  1. On the Configuration Report tab > Under the section Installation settings > Click on 'Generate Report'.

  2. This should generate a report and open it in the default web browser. Please make sure a default program for HTM and HTML files is set, otherwise, you will not be able to view the report. If the report does not automatically open, it should appear under Report History after a moment, where you can double click on it to open, or right click on it, and select "Open", and it will open in your browser after a moment.
  3. In your browser; press Ctrl+S.
  4. Select the location to save the report, type a file name, and select type as Webpage, HTML only -> Click on Save.
Instance Report

  1. Similarly, now run the Instance report by selecting the Instance in which you are wanting to report on from the Instance Report section and click on Generate Report.

Please email the two files to your respective Engineer for further troubleshooting via the RSA Support case email, upload them to the support case via the RSA Case Management portal or upload using the RSA SFTP site if the files are very large.
