ResolutionThe Oracle RMan utility is diabled by running the following SQL. Note that Rman options will be removed in future releases of Aveksa Compliance Manager. The recommened methodology for creating backups is to perform a database export. Scripts are available to do this export.
1. Create a sql file (Stopbackup.sql) and put the following commands in the file:
BEGIN
sys.dbms_scheduler.disable( '"SYS"."AVDB_BACKUP.JOB"' );
END;
/
2. log into sqlplus as sysdba
$ sqlplus "/as sysdba"
3. check the jobs in the queue by running
SQL> select owner, job_name, state from dba_scheduler_jobs;
You should see the AVDB_BACKUP_JOB is ENABLED
4. Then in Sqlplus run the command
SQL>@Stopbackup.sql
