To do the Oracle import you need to use the Avekas import script
Before an import you must stop the Aveksa services.
- On the 2900 / POC
-- run # service aveksa_server stop and service aveksa_agent stop
-- The uncompressed backup MUST reside in /home/oracle/AveksaExportImportDir
-- do the import (as the oracle user) AVDB_Import_AVUSER.sh –t (file created from export) for example
if you did an export with –t my_backup then do the import with the same –t my_backup. (note the file prefix and extension are not specified)
-- restart the server; wait for completion, and then start the agent.

- On the cluster
-- On the non-active node run (as root) AlterCluster.sh off
-- On the ACTIVE node run AlterCluster.sh off
-- Restart the database (as root ) /etc/init.d/dbora start
-- Do the import (see above for instructions)
-- Stop the database (/etc/init.d/dbora stop
-- Restart the cluster on the ACTIVE node (AlterCluster.sh on)
-- After the secondary node completes the reboot run AlterCluster.sh on
