ResolutionThe associations between the workflow events (rules) and email event templates are stored in the table T_FLOWRULES_EVENTS_ASSOCIATION. The email events are listed in the T_WORKFLOW_RULES table.
The STATE column is the T_FLOWRULES_EVENTS_ASSOCIATION table determines whether an email will be sent or not. Possible values for STATE are 'Active' and 'InActive'. Changing STATE to 'InActive' would prevent the generation of emails for a particular event.
The query for deactivating the sending of mail for a particular event is
"UPDATE T_FLOWRULES_EVENTS_ASSOCIATION SET STATUS= 'inActive' WHERE

WORKFLOW_RULE_ID IN (SELECT ID FROM T_WORKFLOW_RULES WHERE NAME IN

'$RULE_NAME')"
Note: Replace rule name with name of rule or event from T_WORKFLOW_RULES.
