IssueHow to find the OpenSSL version installed on an RSA NetWitness Platform appliance?
ResolutionOn a NetWitness appliance the installed OpenSSL version details can be displayed using the following commands, "rpm -q openssl" or "openssl version -a".

For example,

# rpm -q openssl
openssl-1.0.2k-12.el7.x86_64

# openssl version -a
OpenSSL 1.0.2k-fips  26 Jan 2017 (OwB:1.2.2.4 CCME:4.1.2.0)
