How do I get the Security Analytics interface back to factory default settings?
Resolution

It is sometimes useful for a variety of reasons to reset the Security Analytics database to return the settings back to factory settings, as if it were a fresh install.  Doing so will delete any dashboards and dashlets, as well as local and external users' configuration.

To reset the UI database, issue the commands below:

  1. stop jettysrv
  2. cd /var/lib/netwitness/uax/db
  3. rm -rf *
  4. start jettysrv
