IssueAPP 3.0 - Is it possible to backup to a windows nfs server?
No notation on what kind of nfs servers you can use to backup an appliance up over nfs
Resolution

Yes, this is possible, as Microsoft does provide a version 3 nfs stack that is compatible with rPath linux,

Reference:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324086

But RSA does not provide configuration asssistance with the setup of the windows nfs server portion.

Please note on the windows nfs server, you must insure that the share on the windows nfs server is both a read write share, as well as the root login account, which is the account that writes the console backup files, has write permissions to the share.  Once you can assure the above prerequisites are true, refer to solution a48830 for more information on testing and setting up general backups over nfs.
