IssueCustomer reports that content protected by Web Agent is served to browser, even though the user has not authenticated
Content protected by Web Agent is served to client browser even though user has not authenticated
Customer is using Internet Explorer 8 or higher
Behavior may not bee seen on browsers that are not Internet Explorer 8 or higher such as when using the chrome browser
ResolutionMake sure that for the IIS Web Agent, the setting "Prevent Caching of Protected Pages on Clients" is ENABLED. This will prevent protected content being saved in the cache of the client browser. Before retesting make sure that the browser cache is cleared.
Configure the web server not to cache the protected pages. This can be done in IIS 7.5 by going to the Web Site and configuring "Output Caching"
