|Issue||Debugging Java applets|
NIC server is currently not available.
Local access to the enVision event viewer works.
|Cause||This message can appear while the workstation accessing the enVision interface via a web browser can not download all the applets / java apps required to start the event viewer.|
To turn on debug mode for Java runtime on the workstation:
a. Under Settings open up ?Debugging?, enable ?Enable tracing?, ?Enable logging? and ?Show applet lifecycle exceptions? options
b. Open Java console and enable Show console
c. Click OK to confirm the change.
a. Wait until you have received the error message ?NIC server is currently not available.? and click copy on the java console and paste the content into a text file so it can be analyzed. This text file will be useful for RSA Customer Support.
