IssueHow to prompt users for RSA SecurID passcode when connecting via dialup
RSA Security Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) does not work with "log on using dialup" option
Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) client is configured to use RSA SecurID. When user selects the "log on using dialup" option, the error RSA-EAP "Access Denied" appears.
ResolutionThis issue has been corrected in a hot fix for RSA Authentication Agent 6.1. Contact RSA Security Customer Support to obtain the cumulative hot fix build 6.1.0 [431] or later. Apply this hot fix on the machine with Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) client and on the RAS server, then restart the RAS services. This will work with default Windows VPN client.
NOTE: If using Connection Manager with ISA 2004 server, you need to apply the hot fix (sdeap.dll) in addition to the cumulative hot fix 6.1.0 [431] or later.
