Issue
  • Error 1: Error "Insert realm token not found" shows up in the log monitor of the remote Primary
Remote error while inserting realm" on local Primary RSA Authentication Manager when creating realm secret


 
  • Error 2: Nothing in the log monitor of the remote Primary
Remote error while inserting realm" on local Primary RSA Authentication Manager when creating realm secret

 
  • Error 3: Unable to establish realm secret
Insert realm not authorized" shows up in the log monitor of the remote Primary

 
Cause
  • Cause of error 1: The token used to create the realm secret is not in the remote realm
  • Cause of error 2: A realm entry was added into the Remote Primary with the same two Primary servers names as are being inserted from the Home Realm
  • Cause of error 3: The token used to create the realm secret is not assigned to an administrator account
Resolution
  • Fix 1 To establish a realm secret, you must use a token that exists in the Remote realm and that is assigned to an administrator user.
  • Fix 2 Delete the realm entry in the Remote Primary.
  • Fix 3 Give the User in the remote realm with the token the Administrative role.
