Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start
CauseWhen CA's have passphrases assigned to them, the administrator is prompted for the passphrases during startup. The pop-up prompts are not visible through terminal services.
Keon passphrase windows not displayed through Terminal Services; prompts are displayed on the console only for security reasons
Resolution
As a workaround for this issue, start Keon Certificate Authority through a remote session, not a terminal session.

Alternatively: Do not assign the CA's passphrases during the installation or afterward


Alternatively: Create a startup.conf file containing the passphrases of all CA's in the KCA
